Product Introduction
The AT-CZ-2C Automatic Intelligent sheet former (Rapid Köthen sheet former) is a premium laboratory handsheet preparation system developed by AnniMaiTe Instrument, combining years of manufacturing expertise with insights from imported equipment benchmarks. It integrates sheet forming and rapid vacuum drying in one unit, designed for preparing standard test handsheets from various plant, mineral, and synthetic fibers after pulping, beating, and screening. The system comprises a forming section, transfer section, drying section, and accessories, supporting both manual and fully automatic operation. Pneumatic mixing time is programmable, and the water-circulating vacuum pump requires no oil maintenance. All wet-end components are 304 stainless steel and silicone, with Omron electrical components and leakage protection, meeting ISO 5269/2, ISO 5263, TAPPI T-205, DIN 54358, and other international standards.

FAQ
I. Startup Issues
1. Device won't start, touchscreen black
Phase loss/unstable power supply, circuit breaker tripped, emergency stop not reset, fuse blown. Check 380V/220V power; reset emergency stop and breaker; replace fuse with same rating.
2. Startup alarm, cannot enter program
Stock tank not locked, limit sensor malfunction, pneumatic air supply not connected. Re-clamp forming cylinder; clean sensor probe; turn on compressor to ensure 0.4-0.6 MPa supply.
II. Vacuum Filtration Issues
1. Vacuum won't build, filtration very slow
Water-circulating pump low on water or scaled; vacuum line leaks or loose fittings; silicone seals dirty or aged; drain valve not fully closed. Refill clean water and descale pump; check and replace aged tubing; clean or replace seals; service drain solenoid valve.
2. Vacuum gauge fluctuating
Minor air leaks in lines, forming cylinder misaligned, pump intake unstable. Check all connections; position cylinder correctly and lock; clean pump inlet.
3. Residual water not draining
Drain pipe clogged, drain solenoid valve stuck, vacuum/drain timing sequence incorrect. Clear drain pipes; disassemble and clean drain valve; reset drain timing parameters.
III. Mixing and Forming Issues
1. Pneumatic mixing not bubbling or stirring
Air pressure too low, mixing holes clogged, solenoid valve faulty, air hose kinked. Adjust pressure to ~0.5 MPa; flush mixing disc holes with clean water; replace solenoid valve; straighten air hose.
2. Poor sheet formation, uneven basis weight profile
Stock consistency too high or low, fibers not fully disintegrated, mixing time too short, forming wire partially clogged or deformed. Control consistency at 0.2%-0.5%; extend mixing time; clean or replace forming wire.
3. Pinholes, bubble marks, or dirt specks in sheet
Excessive air bubbles in stock, dirty wire mesh, water fill too fast. Deaerate and filter stock before use; pressure-wash wire; reduce inlet flow rate.
4. Rough or missing sheet edges
Cylinder seal leaking, rough handling during sheet removal, frame misalignment. Clean and tighten cylinder seals; control water level; standardize couching technique; realign frame.
IV. Heating and Drying Issues
1. No heating or temperature won't rise
Heating element burnt out, thermocouple detached or damaged, temperature controller parameters corrupted. Test and replace heating element; reattach or replace thermocouple; restore factory controller settings.
2. Sheet still damp after drying
Insufficient vacuum for dewatering, temperature set too low, drying time too short, heating plate scaled. Repair vacuum system; set temperature to 95-105°C; extend drying time; descale heating plate.
3. Sheet sticking to wire, difficult to remove
Drying temperature too high, resin residues on wire, no carrier sheet used. Lower temperature and shorten drying time; alkaline-clean wire; use dedicated transfer paper during forming.
V. Mechanical and Pneumatic Issues
1. Cylinder lift jerky or noisy
Dust on guide rails, cylinder lacking lubrication, solenoid valve sluggish. Clean and grease guide rails; lubricate cylinder; service pneumatic solenoid valve.
2. Cylinder moving slowly or weakly
Air pressure insufficient, excessive water in separator, cylinder seal worn and leaking. Increase air pressure; drain separator; replace cylinder seals.
