The Ring Crush Sampler is an essential sample preparation tool required for the Ring Crush Test (RCT) of paper and paperboard, and the Concora Medium Test (CMT) of corrugating medium. This sampler is used to precisely cut standard-sized ring crush specimens, featuring high dimensional accuracy and easy operation. The cutting length is 152±0.2mm, width is 12.7±0.025mm, parallelism between the two long edges is <0.015mm, and the cutting thickness range is 0.1–1.0mm. The body uses an integrated cast structure, equipped with a progressive shear blade that cuts effortlessly, lasts long, and produces burr-free specimens with accurate dimensions. The large cast base ensures stability during cutting. Overall dimensions are 140×410×120mm, with a sampler weight of approximately 20kg. It is an ideal auxiliary tool for specimen preparation before RCT and CMT testing in the papermaking, packaging, scientific research, and quality inspection industries.
