The Automatic colorimeter operates on the integrating sphere spectrophotometric principle. The main body is a mechatronic structure with a halogen lamp simulating the D65 illuminant, uniformly illuminating the specimen through a 150mm integrating sphere. The specimen is fixed under the measurement port by an automatic clamper, and the reflected light is captured by a photoelectric sensor. The high-speed 32-bit ARM processor calculates all colorimetric parameters in real time. A slider-type UV cut-off filter and adjustable UV radiation component allow precise measurement of fluorescent whitening materials. The intuitive 5-inch touchscreen enables one-touch automated measurement, calculation, and printout.

1. What specific parameters can the instrument measure?
It measures color and color difference (L*a*b, ΔEab, etc.), ISO brightness (R457), fluorescent whiteness, CIE Ganz whiteness W10 and tint value TW10, ceramic whiteness, building material whiteness, Hunter Lab and whiteness, yellowness YI, opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient, light absorption coefficient, ink absorption value, and custom whiteness.
2. How to measure the fluorescent whiteness of fluorescent whitened materials?
Pull out the left-side slider to insert the UV cut-off filter, eliminating UV radiation from illumination and measuring reflectance without fluorescence excitation. Compare results with and without UV to calculate fluorescent whiteness. The adjusting screw can fine-tune the UV component.
3. How does the one-touch automatic testing function work?
Place the specimen on the test platform, select the required parameters on the 5-inch touchscreen, and press the start button. The instrument automatically clamps the specimen, illuminates, measures, calculates, and prints the results without any manual intervention.

4. What are the environmental requirements for installation?
The instrument must be placed on a stable, level tabletop away from vibration sources and direct strong light. Protect from dust and water splashes. Use an AC 100V-240V power supply with reliable grounding. Add an AC voltage stabilizer if the power supply is unstable.
5. What are the functions of the black cavity and working standard plate?
The black cavity is used for zero calibration (0% reflectance), and the working standard plate is used to calibrate the instrument to a known standard value. Both should be used for adjustment before each testing session to ensure measurement accuracy.
